A few years later, Jeffrey finally decides to sell this grandfather’s house, but the towns people including the Mayor have mixed feelings on keeping people away from the house, especially when a serial killer escapes from another institution and finds refuge there. The killer makes frightening phone calls and kills anyone coming near the house. But what does the killer have in common with what happened to Wilford Butler years before?

Mother Krampus (2017)

Based on the German Urban Legend of Frau Perchta, the Christmas Witch, who takes a child each night over the 12 days of Christmas. For the 12 days before the Christmas of 1921, children went missing near the local towns woods. A traumatized girl was found, but her mind had gone – she later died of her horrific injuries. Just before the Christmas of 1992, a further five children disappeared again. Their bodies were found in the same woods. Angry and seeking vengeance, the locals hung a woman they believed to be the killer. But before dying, she cursed the town that one day the Christmas Witch, Frau Perchta, would come for them to avenge her death. 25 years later, the story has become little more than a local myth. But as children start to go missing again, everyone begins to wonder if the tales of a curse might be true. This Christmas it’s not only the children that are in danger, it’s the adults too.

Ugly Sweater Party (2018)

An ugly sweater party turns into a bloodbath when an evil Christmas sweater possesses one of the partygoers.

Treevenge (2008)

Foul-mouthed lumberjacks descend on a hillside of trees, cutting them down and trucking them to Christmas tree lots where families paw them, pick one out, take it home, stick it in a stand, and decorate it. The trees experience terror throughout the ordeal: we hear their squeals of pain when axed or sawn, the emotion of separation from family and friends, the fear of the unknown, and the despair they feel during the strange and bizarre rituals of families at Christmas. On Christmas morning, the trees strike back. Man, woman, child, and pet may be in for a grisly end.

ATM (2012)

With only one night to go, they are required to make a series of in-home visits to the older and less fortunate. Upon arriving at their final stop for the night, they become introduced to a pleasant older woman who graciously welcomes them into her home for the evening. However, as darkness falls and the cold settles in, they begin to realize that there is far more to their seemingly innocent host than meets the eye.

Spooktober Week 1

Decided to do weekly updates for Spooktober/Halloween Month. I’ll be posting on Tumblr/Instagram more frequently and want to simplify things on here.

Spooktober Day 1

Happy Spooktober. While 2020 has been a tough year for all of us, the world over, we can still make good memories. This won’t be a Halloween like the previous years. But we can still make it one worth remembering. And we can use the joy we have for this spooky month to set our troubles aside for a time. Relive the memories of great Halloween’s and great movies, books, and TV shows. Use the fictional horrors we love to cleanse the horror of our current reality.

The Granny (1995)

Welcome to first day of the best month of the year. And what better way to welcome the season than with a warm embrace from Granny. She may hate most of her family, but she definitely has a soft spot for you.

The Granny (1995) was written and directed by Luca Bercovici, based off a story by Bercovici and Sam Bernard. Stella Stevens, Shannon Whirry, Luca Bercovici, Brant von Hoffman, Sandy Helberg, Patricia Sturges, Heather Elizabeth Parkhurst, and Ryan Bollman.

Coming Soon: Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost

An annual tradition, the Festival returns to haunt the Tower once again for the third time on October 6th. The Haunted Forest returns once again. Sadly we get no new weapons. We get new rolls for the Horror Story and the Braytech Werewolf. Story-wise we’ll be racing through the Haunted Forest at the behest of the Spider to collect chests. There will also be new spooky armor.

Spooktober Day 2

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)

One of the best sequels to ever grace the silver screen, there’s dozens of amazing moments to choose from. I chose this iconic moment. Kristen Parker drags Nancy Thompson into her nightmare to help her. Nancy saves her without even a thought. And then comes the stunning realization that the Nightmare that has haunted her for years is still alive. Her look of sheer terror is a testament to Heather Langenkamp’s amazing acting ability. What’s your favorite ANOES 3 moment?

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was written by Wes Craven, Bruce Wagner, Frank Darabont, and Chuck Russell, with Russell directing. Heather Langenkamp, Robert Englund, Craig Wasson, Patricia Arquette, Ken Sagoes, Rodney Eastman, Jennifer Rubin, Laurence Fishburne, John Saxon, Priscilla Pointer, and Brooke Bundy star.

Call of Duty: Zombies

November 13th can’t come soon enough. While COD: Black Ops can be hit or miss, the Zombies portion of the game is always a highlight. And by the looks of things, Cold War brings it to the next level. I am very impressed with how Zombies looks and am most definitely looking forward to playing it. Are you excited for it?

Spooktober Day 3

Child’s Play (1988)

My favorite and most iconic scene in this movie is when Karen discovers that Andy isn’t lying. Something is up with Chucky and she intends to discover what that is. It’s not only distinctly memorable, but intensely terrifying. After all, we’ve already seen Chucky kill. Andy’s the main character. It’s entirely possible we’re about to witness Karen’s demise. The sheer suspense is enough to set your heart to racing. The moment Karen discovers the unused batteries is a moment that will never be forgotten. What’s your favorite Child’s Play moment?

Child’s Play was written by Don Mancini, John Lafia, and Tom Holland, with Holland directing. Catherine Hicks, Chris Sarandon, Alex Vincent, Brad Dourif, and Dinah Manoff star.

Classic Trailer: Thir13en Ghosts (2001)
